Ben Higgins and Riley Fuller will highlight Generous International and Humanity and Hope United Foundation and their mission to create a movement of generosity by selling excellent and relevant products to consumers and funneling those profits towards efforts focused on alleviating poverty and bringing hope to the world.
For professional artist and Master Penman, Jake Weidmann, faith and creativity go hand in glove. For creatives, visionaries, and even those who wouldn’t (yet) consider themselves as such, Jake will walk you through the intimate process of bringing forth dynamic and powerful work from a place of devotion and worship to God. Moreover, he will discuss the process of bringing what he made in the secrecy of the prayer closet, scriptorium, and studio to the marketplace of the world at large.
Working for an organization that fights human trafficking in her twenties has been a wild ride, Through her experience, Kayla Henry has found that so much of life and so much of God’s plan lives in the unexpected, so much of the extraordinary is birthed out of the mundane, and so much momentum comes out of choosing to stop and stay put. Kayla will talk about what it looks like to truly want to change the world, what it requires of us as followers of Jesus and ask what does it mean to really commit your life to justice day in and day out.
