Živorad Vasić

Živorad graduated from Boston University in two areas, hotel administration and in finance, in both departments with Magna Cum Laude status. He received his master’s degree by defending his thesis in areas of economic and financial indicators in the hotel industry. He is a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Economics faculty in Belgrade and Singidunum University, where he received his doctorate with the topic “Rewarding employees in the hotel industry”.
His 17-year American career took him from Boston to eight American cities and 11 hotels, in which was in management positions. After 17 years of living in the USA, Živorad Vasić, returning to Serbia, In 2008, he joined Delta Holding. In just three months after his return, at the age of 31, he becomes the youngest general manager in the history of the Continental Hotel, the famous hotel with the richest tradition in region, which has been open since 1979. Since 2016, he has held the position of vice president, and in 2019 he will become senior vice president of the Delta Holding company. He managed the complex IHG hotel portfolio of the Delta Holding company and at the same time was responsible for making decisions for the regional development of IHG hotel. Živorad Vasić was twice elected manager of the year in the Hyatt corporation, in 2002 and 2005. years. He is the winner of the Manager of the Year award of the Serbian Association of Managers for 2014. He is a member of the Serbian Association of Managers, the Serbian Business Club “Privrednik”, a member of the Board of Directors of AmCham and a member of the Board of Directors for Youth Achievements in Serbia. He is the winner of numerous prestigious awards award in the field of hospitality. Today, he is the co-founder and director of Kadena Properties, a unique platform in Serbia for management of investments in real estate and execution of demanding construction projects; co-founder and director of “Kadena Sotheby’s International Realty” and the company “Propellyst”.
