Ivan Laljak

Head of Capital Markets, Colliers Croatia – Slovenia – Bosnia and Herzegovina

Ivan joined Colliers in June 2018 as a Junior Consultant in the Investment, Valuation, and Advisory Services department. His exceptional skills and dedication have led to multiple promotions, and as of 2024, Ivan holds the position of Head of Capital Markets for Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this role, he focuses on investment transactions, including standing assets and land for development, buy-side and sell-side representation, investment and development advisory, and sourcing financing for commercial real estate projects. His responsibilities also include business development, client relationship management, and mentoring junior colleagues.

Before transitioning to the Capital Markets department, Ivan worked in the Valuation and Advisory Services department. His work concentrated on valuations across various sectors, including hotels, offices, retail, industrial/logistics, land, and residential properties. He also conducted feasibility and highest and best use studies, financial modeling and analysis, market research, and NPL portfolio valuation.

Ivan has collaborated with numerous domestic and international clients, including PBZ, Plava Laguna, UniCredit, Generali, Deutsche Bank, Bain Capital, EBRD, World Bank, Eagle Hills, and others. Prior to joining Colliers, and during his studies, Ivan gained experience in the financial industry and corporate finance. He holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. Ivan is a licensed real estate agent in Croatia and an RICS Chartered Surveyor.
