Oliver Kumrić

Founder and CEO, Decode

For over two decades, Oliver Kumrić has blended his engineering background with roles in project and business management particularly in construction, transport, and real estate. Today, he’s director at Decode, his own consulting venture, and actively partners in diverse business projects and investments.

Throughout his career, among other roles, Oliver has served as an infrastructure investment advisor at the IFC (World Bank Group), led the IGH Institute, was State Secretary at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Infrastructure, and overseen the Supervisory board of HŽ Infrastructure.

After graduating from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb in 2004, Oliver pursued an MBA in Construction by 2011. 

As a Fulbright scholar he spent 2013-2014 at UC Berkeley in California working on his pre-doc research. Additionally, he has pursued various executive education programs at NYU, Harvard, and Stanford in the USA, as well as IMD and Bled in Europe.

Oliver is a member of several professional and social organizations, including MENSA International since 2001 and YPO International since 2018.

Currently, he lives in Zagreb with his wife and three children. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing water polo and traveling with his family or with friends.
