Vedrana Likan’s name in the business world is synonymous with real estate and investments, intellectual entrepreneurship, development of a sustainable economy, green transition, female leadership and empowerment of women in business. Vedrana is a partner and director of Colliers, whose operations for Croatia, Slovenia and BiH have been in charge since 2006.

In 2012, she became part of the Colliers Expansion Team in charge of developing markets, with a special focus on the countries of North Africa and smaller markets in Europe, leading the development of the Colliers Adria Region since 2015. In 2017, Vedrana organized a series of delegation trips to Israel, China and the UAE with the aim of promoting the Adriatic region as an investment destination, since becoming responsible at Colliers for the introduction of investors from the Middle East and China to the CEE and SEE markets.

Before Colliers, she spent 10 years in communication management, and from 2009 until today she held key positions in international chambers in Croatia as First Vice President of AmCham (2009 – 2013) and President of the British Chamber in Croatia (2014 – ) and organizations dedicated to the development of our market and society, as the founder, president and honorary member of the Croatian Council for Green Building (2009 – ), founder and president of the Association for the Promotion of Positive Changes in Society (2012 – ), co-founder and member of the Management Board of SOS Zagreb (2020 – ) , member of the Board of Directors of APR – Academy for Political Development (2022- ), co-founder of the Croatian Women’s Alliance (2023 – ), which brings together Croatian women in the homeland and diaspora, and is a member of the SOS Children’s Village Assembly (2023 – ) and co-founder of Green HQ knowledge hub (2023- ).

Vedrana is a guest lecturer at faculties, institutes and universities, actively engages in mentoring within local and international programs, and participates in leading national and European conferences as program advisor, moderator and panelist. She makes her professional contribution as a member of the jury of prestigious European forums and awards. In addition to projects dedicated to promoting positive changes in society, sustainable development, education and empowerment of women, throughout her career Vedrana has worked on a series of projects with an emphasized humanitarian character and programs dedicated to empowering women and promoting entrepreneurship among women and young people.

For professional achievements and advocacy for the empowerment of women in business, in 2012 Vedrana was declared “Woman of the Year”, which was followed by her author’s project “21 ways to success” and the LeaderSHE conference. These are the projects that, from today’s perspective, can rightly be called groundbreaking in promoting female leadership, raising awareness of the challenges women face on the road to success, and empowering women in the business environment in Croatia.

In June 2022 in Brussels, Vedrana received the prestigious European Female Business Leader award in competition with women from 23 European countries for her long-term dedication to promoting positive social changes and the systematic empowerment of women in the business world.

After the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb, Vedrana completed the Mergers and Acquisitions course at the New York Institute of Finance, as well as the Academy for Political Development and the UN Academy. He continued his formal education in 2014 at the EMBA program of the international school in Zagreb, and in 2018 he became a certified RICS expert. In 2022, as a student of the University of Oxford – Organizational Resilience Program, she becomes one of the first experts in Europe in the field of Resilience.
